India, Oct. 31 -- The incident took place on October 28. The girl, a kindergarten student reportedly with special needs, was allegedly attacked by the Class 3 student, leaving her with serious head injuries. She has been referred to the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh for treatment.

A purported video of the incident, circulating on social media, appears to show the boy grabbing the girl by her hair and repeatedly hitting her head against a desk. After she falls to the floor, he allegedly kicks her and strikes her with an object that appears to be a brick or stone.
