India, Oct. 5 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday alleged a conspiracy to break the 'Goa First' alliance ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections and asked its ally, the Goa Forward Party (GFP), to clarify its position.

AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik said the alliance between AAP and the Vijai Sardesai-led GFP was open to political parties other than the Congress and BJP.

"Goa First is open to all, excluding the Congress and BJP. There are conspiracies to break the alliance. Those who want no defections and no corruption can join the alliance," Naik said at a press conference in Goa.

The AAP and GFP announced the 'Goa First' alliance on September 13 to contest the 2027 Assembly elections together in the coastal state.
