India, June 19 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding Rs.1 crore compensation for the families of NEET aspirants who allegedly died by suicide amid the controversy surrounding the NEET-UG paper leak and the subsequent re-examination.

In a letter addressed to the Prime Minister, Dipke claimed that 11 students had died by suicide in recent weeks, including five deaths reported within the last 48 hours. He alleged that uncertainty over the cancelled examination and the pressure of the upcoming re-test had significantly worsened mental stress among students.
