India, Sept. 10 -- The legal challenges facing Mumbais elected corporators are continuing even after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) election results, with defeated candidates challenging the victories of 79 corporators on various grounds.
According to information provided by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation to RTI activist Anil Galgali, a total of 79 election petitions have been filed challenging the election of corporators.
