University of Visual & Performing Arts reopens after temporary closure
Srilanka, July 13 -- Academic activities at the University of the Visual and Performing Arts in Colombo resumed today (13) after being temporarily closed due to the spread of dengue.
The university had been shut for nearly two weeks from July 2 as a precautionary measure in response to the rising number of dengue and viral fever cases.
Commenting on the reopening, Registrar Dr. Chani Imbulgoda urged students to take responsibility for maintaining a clean campus environment.
