Srilanka, Aug. 27 -- A woman and a man have died following an accident involving a motorcycle and a three-wheeler on Anagarika Dharmapala Mawatha in Ambalanwatta, Galle.



The accident occurred this morning (27) when a motorcycle travelling from Karapitiya towards Ambalanwatte lost control, slipped and toppled on the road and a three-wheeler travelling in the opposite direction, from Ambalanwatte towards Karapitiya, subsequently collided with a nearby electricity pole.



The female passenger traveling in the rear of the three-wheeler died on the spot after the vehicle overturned and crashed into a nearby electricity pole.
