Sri Lanka, June 22 -- A raid conducted in the Kattuwa area of the Negombo Police Division, based on intelligence regarding a drug trafficking operation carried out using online money transfers, has led to the arrest of two suspects along with various narcotics, police said.



The suspects were apprehended yesterday (21) by officers of the Negombo Divisional Crime Investigation Bureau and handed over to the Negombo Police Station alone with the seized narcotics.



During the operation, police had seized 1 kilogram and 34 grams of Hashish, 7 grams and 420 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as 'Ice', and 8 grams and 860 milligrams of heroin.
