Sri Lanka Marines Corps personnel join world's largest maritime exercise in Hawaii
Srilanka, July 21 -- Sri Lanka Marine Corps personnel have taken part in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise currently being held in Hawaii, alongside military forces from 28 other countries.
The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka said the participation reflects growing cooperation between Sri Lanka and Indo-Pacific partner nations. The multinational maritime exercise, described as the world's largest of its kind, brings together naval and marine forces to enhance coordination and readiness.
