Srilanka, Aug. 13 -- A delegation led by Inoue Naoki, President of the Sri Lanka-Japan Friendship Association has met with Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.



The meeting held yesterday (12) focused extensively on further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Japan and Sri Lanka, the President's Media Division (PMD) said.



Recalling that the Association had recently facilitated the provision of three ambulances to the North Western Provincial Council, President Inoue Naoki expressed the Association's continued willingness to provide further assistance to Sri Lanka as required.
