Srilanka, July 4 -- The Sri Lanka Customs Department has generated revenue of Rs. 1,373.7 billion during the elapsed period of this year.



Customs Media Spokesperson and Senior Director of Customs, Chandana Punchihewa, stated that this achievement has surpassed the revenue target set for the first six months of the year, ending June 30.



The projected revenue target for the Customs Department for the first half of the year was Rs. 1,060.5 billion. Accordingly, the Department exceeded this target by Rs. 313 billion.
