Srilanka, June 23 -- The Supreme Court today concluded the hearing of a petition filed seeking a declaration that former Minister A.H.M. Fowzie violated fundamental rights by using a vehicle provided by the Government of the Netherlands for disaster management activities in Sri Lanka for his personal use.



The court subsequently reserved judgment and announced that the date for the delivery of the verdict would be notified later, said Ada Derana reporter.



The petition was heard before a three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena, Justice Janak de Silva, and Justice Arjuna Obeyesekere.



The petition was filed by the former Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Chandra Jayaratne.
