Srilanka, July 21 -- A revenue inspector attached to the sub-office of the Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over an alleged bribery incident.



According to the complaint filed with the Bribery Commission, the complainant had purchased a house in 2018 and had been residing there since then. Officials from the Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha had visited the property and informed the complainant that assessment tax payments would have to be made separately for the upper and lower floors of the house.
