Srilanka, Nov. 4 -- The Puttalam Provincial High Court has issued an interim injunction suspending the transfer of the principal of Anamaduwa Mudalakkulia Vijaya Maha Vidyalaya, restraining the Secretary to the North Western Provincial Chief Ministry from implementing the transfer order.

The order was issued yesterday (03), when the petition challenging the transfer was taken up before Puttalam Provincial High Court Judge Jayalath C. Silva.

The court suspended the letter issued by the Secretary to the Provincial Chief Ministry transferring the principal, following a legal challenge claiming that the transfer had been made in violation of established procedures.
