Srilanka, Nov. 3 -- The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has made prior appointments mandatory for all one-day services provided at its head office in Narahenpita, with the new system coming into effect from yesterday (02).

Accordingly, the public will only be able to obtain one-day services by securing an appointment in advance, the Department announced.

Appointments can be made by calling 117 116, using the relevant area telephone code, or through the department's official online appointment portal at https://dmtappointments.dmt.gov.lk.
