New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- The President's Fund is set to commence its programme to recognise students who demonstrated outstanding performance at the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination at district level, with the first programme scheduled to be held in Kilinochchi on September 26.



Under the programme, the number of students recognised from each subject stream has been increased from 10 to 20 students per district, meaning nearly 3,000 students from across Sri Lanka will be recognised this year.



Each selected student will receive Rs. 100,000 in financial assistance, along with a certificate of recognition, the President's Media Division said in a statement.
