Over 7,000 Poson dansals inspected across Sri Lanka: PHIs
Srilanka, June 29 -- More than 7,000 dansals set up for Poson Poya have been inspected across the country, The Public Health Inspectors' (PHI) Union has stated.
According to the union, a total of 7,215 dansals were subject to inspection as part of routine health and safety assessments during the Poson festival period.
Officials stated that 131 stalls identified with minor deficiencies were instructed to correct the issues and were permitted to continue operations following compliance.
Meanwhile, four soft drink dansals were ordered to be shut down after being found to have prepared beverages that did not meet required public health standards.
