Srilanka, Aug. 31 -- The 28-year-old man, who was injured in a shooting incident at Payagala this evening (31), has succumbed to injuries after admission to the Nagoda Hospital, police said.





Earlier, a shooting was reported in front of a house in Naimulla, Payagala.



A man who sustained serious injuries in the shooting was admitted to the Nagoda Hospital for treatment.



Police said investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of those responsible.
