Srilanka, Aug. 16 -- The Sri Lanka Navy has rescued 10 people after a small vessel travelling from Kurikadduwan to Delft Island met with an accident today (16).



The individuals were rescued by Navy personnel following the incident and subsequently admitted to hospital for medical treatment.



The incident occurred amid rough sea conditions prevailing in the area.
