Sri Lanka, March 31 -- This year's National Vesak Festival is scheduled to be held at the ancient Midellawala Temple in Thihagoda, Matara.

Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to the proposal to declare the Vesak Week from May 27 to June 2, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa noted.
