Sri Lanka, June 22 -- Police have launched an investigation following reports of a suspicious death at a house in the Yaya 05 area of Thambuttegama.



The deceased has been identified as a 54-year-old resident of Rajanganaya, Yaya 05, police said.



The body has been placed at the mortuary of the Anuradhapura Hospital for a post-mortem examination.



Thambuttegama Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
