Sri Lanka, April 4 -- Landslide warnings have been issued to two Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Ratnapura District following heavy rainfall in the area.

Accordingly, the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued level 1 landslide warnings to residents of the Kolonna and Ratnapura Divisional Secretariat divisions.

Landslide warnings will remain in effect until 5:00 p.m. tomorrow (April 5), the NBRO said.
