IMF delegation meets President, commend Sri Lanka's economic progress and fiscal measures
Srilanka, Sept. 17 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has met with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Mission Chief Evan Papageorgiou, who is currently visiting Sri Lanka, at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (17).
The President emphasised that recent economic indicators demonstrate that Sri Lanka's economy has embarked on a path towards stability and said the Government's expectation is to take the country towards a transformative era by building on this stability, Anura Kumara Dissanayake said in a statement.
