Srilanka, Aug. 3 -- A fire broke out at a shop located on Main Street in Pettah this evening.



Two fire engines belonging to the Colombo Municipal Council have been deployed to control the blaze.



Firefighters are currently engaged in efforts to extinguish the fire, according to officials.



The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been determined.
