Srilanka, July 13 -- A fire has broken out at a coir mill in Nawagampura, Ampara.



Firefighting units from the Ampara Municipal Council and the Uhuna Sri Lanka Air Force camp, along with the Sri Lanka Army and Police, are currently working to bring the blaze under control.



Authorities have deployed emergency teams to contain the fire.



The cause of the fire and the extent of damage have not been ascertained thus far.
