Sri Lanka, May 10 -- The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education has appointed a special expert committee to draft a national policy on medical education in the country.

The 15-member committee has been tasked with preparing recommendations aimed at strengthening and streamlining the medical education sector.
