Sri Lanka, July 6 -- The death toll from the renewed unrest at Negombo Prison this morning has further risen to nineteen, according to police.



Among the identified bodies, four are of prison officers and four are of inmates, according to hospital sources.

Although the situation had been brought under control by this morning following yesterday's incidents, unrest has reportedly resurfaced at the prison.
