Sri Lanka, April 4 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) says that it is paying attention to further reducing the duration of scheduled water cuts in several areas of Colombo.
The Chairman of the Water Board Engineer Chandana Bandara stated that, in view of the current situation, attention is now focused on limiting water cuts to 12 or eight hours.
Due to water supply disruptions caused by prevailing dry weather conditions, the NWSDB had earlier decided to impose water cuts once in three days in Padukka, Homagama, Palanwatta, and Pannipitiya.
