Sri Lanka, March 24 -- The price of cement has been increased by approximately Rs. 150 to Rs. 175 by manufacturing companies.
The companies state that the price hike is due to increased production costs.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, Darinton Paul, noted that prices of key construction materials, including sand, gravel, and steel have also risen significantly.
