Srilanka, July 20 -- An Army corporal has been killed in a road accident this morning after a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus collided with his motorcycle near Paramakanda Junction, in Anamaduwa.



The victim was identified as a 38-year-old resident of Uriyawa, Anamaduwa.



Police said the corporal had returned home yesterday after completing an extended military training program in Trincomalee and was due to report back for duty today.



According to police, he had dropped off his two daughters at the school on his motorcycle and was riding back home when the crash occurred.



The accident involved an SLTB bus attached to the Puttalam Depot, which was travelling from Puttalam to Kurunegala. Police said the driver reportedly...
