Srilanka, July 23 -- The Court of Appeal today (23) has dismissed, without taking it up for hearing, a writ petition seeking an order to postpone the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination, scheduled to be held next month, by two months.



Court announced its decision after giving lengthy consideration to the submissions made in relation to the petition, Ada Derana reporter said.



The petition had been filed by a group of students who are due to sit the 2026 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination for the first and second time.
