Srilanka, June 24 -- The Court of Appeal today continued hearing the writ petition filed by former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, seeking an order preventing his arrest in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.



The petition is being heard before a bench comprising President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Rohantha Abeysuriya, and Justice Sarath Dissanayake, said Ada Derana reporter.



President's Counsel Romesh de Silva continued his submissions on behalf of the petitioner, Gotabaya Rajapaksa.



Deputy Solicitor General Suharshi Herath appeared on behalf of the respondents.
