Sri Lanka, April 4 -- Around 96% of medical graduates who recently completed their internship have applied for post-internship appointments, the Ministry of Health stated.

Applications for post-internship medical appointments closed at noon today (April 4), as scheduled by the Health Ministry. Accordingly, out of 453 doctors who completed their internship this year, 435, or 96%, successfully applied for appointments, the Health Ministry said in a statement.
