Sri Lanka, March 5 -- The bodies of 87 individuals who were on board the Iranian vessel 'IRIS Dena', which sank after being attacked by the United States in seas off southern Sri Lanka, have now been recovered.
A total of 32 of the rescued crew from the Iranian ship 'IRIS Dena' have been admitted to the Galle National Hospital, with one of them in the Intensive Care Unit, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa stated in Parliament today.
The Minister also confirmed that the 87 recovered bodies have been placed at Karapitiya Hospital.
He also stated that a special security program has been implemented within the hospital premises to ensure the safety of the injured Iranian nationals.
