28 vehicles suspended from service following Talawakelle inspection
Srilanka, Aug. 19 -- A total of 28 vehicles operating in the Talawakelle area have been temporarily suspended from service after being found to be unroadworthy during an inspection, Nuwara Eliya District Chief Motor Vehicle Inspector Jaliya Bandara stated.
The inspection was jointly conducted by officers of the Traffic Branch of the Nuwara Eliya Police Division and Motor Vehicle Inspectors, covering 40 vehicles travelling through the Talawakelle area. The vehicles inspected included buses, cars, motorcycles, vans and lorries.
