Srilanka, Aug. 24 -- The Department of Examinations has announced the dates for all major school examinations scheduled to be held in 2027.



According to a statement issued by the Department today (24), the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination will be held on August 1, 2027.



The G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to be conducted from August 3 to August 28, 2027.



The General Information Technology (GIT) Examination will take place on October 24, 2027.



Meanwhile, the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination is scheduled for December 7 to December 17, 2027.



The dates announced are as follows:

Grade 5 Scholarship Examination: August 1, 2027

G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination: August 3-28, 2027
