SriLanka, June 20 -- The Commissioner General of Examinations A. K. S. Indika Kumari Liyanage announced that a total of 11,790 candidates have obtained 'A' passes for all subjects in the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination.



She made these remarks during a media briefing held at the Department of Examinations, following the release of the 2025 O/L exam results last night.



Accordingly, a total of 225,748 students, representing 73.16% of the candidates, have qualified for the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) exam, while 7,419 candidates (2.36%) have failed all subjects, she said.



The Commissioner General further noted that the number of candidates who obtained 'A' passes in all subjects stands at 11,790.
