Srilanka, June 15 -- A 19-hour water cut will be imposed in several areas of Gampaha due to urgent maintenance work at the Karasnagala Water Treatment Plant in Attanagalla, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced.



According to the NWSDB, the water supply will be suspended from 8.00 a.m. tomorrow (16) until 3.00 a.m. on Wednesday (17).



The water cut will affect residents of Minuwangoda, Gampaha, Mahara, Attanagalla and Nittambuwa.



The Water Board noted that water supply will be suspended in Minuwangoda, Asgiriya, Udugampola, Opatha and surrounding areas.



Furthermore, the supply of water will be disrupted to residents within the Gampaha Municipal Council and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha areas, as well...
