Srilanka, Aug. 25 -- Alleged drug trafficker Nilanga Sampath Silva, alias 'Panadura Nilanga,' has been remanded until September 3 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.



The suspect, who had been held under a detention order, was produced before the court today by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).



Following the proceedings, Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama ordered that the suspect be further remanded until September 3.



'Panadura Nilanga' had been detained as investigations into his alleged involvement in drug trafficking continued.
