Cuttack, Jan. 12 -- The Commissionerate Police has put up a notice (Latka in common parlance) at the house of deceased Odia television actress Nikita's in-laws, who failed to appear at the police station despite being summoned several times.
As per reports, the mother-in-law and father-in-law of Nikita were supposed to appear before the Chauliaganj Police but have failed to do so. Earlier in the day, Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh had said that both of them were absconding.
"The other day when our team had gone to their house, they were absconding so the notice couldn't be served. The notice has been served today," Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh said.
On the other hand, Nikita's in-laws have reportedly applied for anticipatory bail.
