Shillong (Meghalaya), Feb. 11 -- : Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar and former Trinamool Congress MP Kunal Ghosh on Monday appeared for questioning at the Central Bureau of Investigation office here in connection with chit fund scam.
Kumar was quizzed for seven hours on the third day of his interrogation by the investigating agency. Kolkata's top cop has been asked to appear before the CBI on Tuesday also.
The former TMC MLA Ghosh was quizzed for the second day today.
"I was asked by CBI to come here and I cooperated in the probe. I have participated in the investigation in the confrontation with Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar. I am leaving for Kolkata tomorrow," said former TMC MP Kunal Ghosh.
