Bangladesh, Aug. 5 -- Russia has taken one of its most significant steps toward integrating digital assets into its formal financial system after President Vladimir Putin signed a landmark law legalizing regulated cryptocurrency trading. The legislation, officially known as the Law on Digital Currencies and Digital Rights, establishes the countrys first comprehensive legal framework for crypto trading while maintaining the long-standing prohibition on using cryptocurrencies as a means of payment within Russia.
