Middle East peace remains impossible until justice and accountability prevail
Bangladesh, June 3 -- The dream of a peaceful and prosperous Middle East has long inspired diplomats, political leaders, and ordinary citizens alike. A region free from war, sectarian conflict, occupation, and instability would unlock enormous economic opportunities and improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people. However, lasting peace cannot be imposed through political branding, diplomatic pressure, or transactional agreements. Peace requires justice, accountability, and the resolution of the underlying grievances that have fueled conflict for generations.
