Bangladesh, May 28 -- The uncertain state of relations between the United States and Iran has once again placed the Middle East at a strategic crossroads. Washington continues to oscillate between diplomacy and confrontation, with conflicting reports emerging almost daily about possible agreements, ceasefires, sanctions relief, or broader understandings with Tehran. Even if a new arrangement eventually materializes, it is unlikely to represent a comprehensive settlement. At best, it would constitute a framework for future negotiations, leaving many contentious issues unresolved and vulnerable to political change in Washington or Tehran.
