Bangladesh, Aug. 23 -- The central leadership of the Hindu Mahajote held an emergency meeting on August 23, Sunday morning, expressing deep concern over what it described as a deteriorating security situation for Bangladeshs Hindu minority and demanding immediate action over the killing of four members of a family in Rangpur.

The emergency meeting began at 9 a.m. and was attended by Hindu Mahajote Secretary General Advocate Govinda Chandra Pramanik, President Advocate Dinabandhu Roy, Executive President Advocate Pradeep Kumar Pal and Womens Affairs Secretary Advocate Pratibha Bakshi.
