Bangladesh, July 7 -- Human trafficking remains one of the worlds most pervasive forms of organized crime, generating billions of dollars annually for criminal networks while exploiting millions of vulnerable people. In a significant demonstration of international law enforcement cooperation, a coordinated global operation spanning 59 countries has delivered a major blow to trafficking syndicates, resulting in more than 1,000 arrests and the identification of over 2,000 potential victims.
