France faces growing cybersecurity crisis as hackers target government data systems
Bangladesh, Aug. 21 -- French authorities are investigating a series of serious cyberattacks that have compromised sensitive government databases, raising fresh concerns about the security of personal and financial information held by public institutions.
The latest incident involves Frances Ministry of Public Action and Accounts, where hackers reportedly gained unauthorized access to government systems and obtained data belonging to nearly 700,000 individuals and businesses. The stolen information includes highly sensitive financial and administrative records, such as taxable income, family quotient information, withholding tax rates, land registry data and probate files.
