Singtam, April 7 -- In a shocking incident that has sent ripples across the quiet locality, a man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Dochum under Sirwani in Sigtamon Monday.

According to police sources, a local resident informed authorities after discovering the victim lying motionless inside his house with multiple injuries on his body. A written FIR was immediately registered at Singtam Police Station.

When officers reached the spot, they found the body lying on a bed with grievous injuries. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased had reportedly been involved in a physical altercation with his wife just a day earlier. The couple was living alone at the residence.
