India, April 30 -- Viasat, a satellite communications company, has announced the successful launch and initial signal acquisition of the ViaSat-3 Flight 3 (F3) satellite. The satellite separated from the launch vehicle's upper stage just under five hours after lift-off, with initial signals received shortly afterwards, confirming that it is operating as expected in orbit and ready for the next phase of operations. ViaSat-3 F3 launched earlier at 10:13 AM EDT aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
