India, Aug. 24 -- Vodafone Idea (Vi) crossed the 20-million registered wireless connection mark in Gujarat in June 2026, adding more connections than Bharti Airtel during the month, according to data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

Vi's wireless subscriber base in the circle rose from 19,896,431 in May to 20,007,766 at the end of June, representing net additions of 111,335 connections.

Airtel, meanwhile, added 90,909 connections during the month, taking its Gujarat base from 15,747,678 to 15,838,587. Vi therefore added 20,426 more connections than Airtel in the circle during June.
