India, Oct. 15 -- Tata Communications reported a 12.2% year-on-year increase in data revenue to Rs 5,810 crore in the second quarter of FY2027, amid strong demand for data centre interconnectivity and enterprise digital services. The company also improved digital portfolio profitability, although the business continued to operate at a loss.

Consolidated revenue increased 9.6% to Rs 6,688 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, up from Rs 6,100 crore a year earlier. Its digital portfolio grew faster than the overall business, with revenue rising 18.6% to Rs 3,016 crore, reflecting the growing contribution of digital platforms and connected services.
